Situated between Kas and Fethiye, Kalkan is an idyllic small but established town built on a mountainside leading down winding bourgainvillea lined streets to a pretty harbour which is still used for local fishing. Although it caters very much towards holiday makers, it still retains its own charm and has local families who have been here for generations.

Most people who visit Kalkan fall instantly in love with the place and people. Many British and European holiday-makers have bought properties in Kalkan and, when not using them, offer their beautiful Turkish homes (villas and apartments) to other holiday makers to rent.
