As a large number of seats on flights are retained for package tours, it often takes considerable perseverance to get the flight you are seeking. Booking flights several months in advance can sometimes be expensive, or seem impossible. From experience, we have normally managed to secure reasonable deals on flights, by constantly calling different numbers and searching the web.
The closest airport to Kalkan is Dalaman, although it is possible to fly to Antalya with a longer transfer time (approx 3 hours). There are also internal flights from Istanbul to Dalaman, so flights to Istanbul may be worth considering.
